Hi All,
Does anybody know where or how to apply to be a lay person on a MHA Tribunal, please?

Join the mailing list at the Judicial Appointments Commission. They have just recently advertised for Specialist Members to the MH Tribunal, and recruited previously about a year ago.

The Judicial Appointments Commission occasionally advertises for Non-legal vacancies which includes Lay members for FTT (mental health) - but they don;t seem to come up very often.

I’m not sure if there are other routes.

The Judicial Appointments Commission website is the place to look, but the most recent deadline for applications was on 28/06/2022.
