Secretary of State's reports on use of force

Hello,

The Mental Health Units (Use of Force) Act 2018 has a couple of ‘prospective’ sections about the Secretary of State publishing annual statistics about the use of force in MH units, and of carrying out reviews and publishing reports following the death of anyone after the use of force.
Does anyone know about a timescale for implementing these things?

Hello Nick! DHSC have indicated to CQC colleagues that they plan to introduce the outstanding sections of the act in this calendar year. We don’t know anything more yet though.
