S3 start date and time

I hope this is the right place to post. Pt on s2 which was ending 12th. Pt was assessed on 10th and assured papers would be sent through. These were not received until 13th which was after the s2 end date.

I have always worked that the section starts the time the electronic set of papers were furnished to the hospital via email. Therefore I would have called it the 13th and there was an unfortunate break in detention.

Or would the s3 start the time the Amhp left the ward on the 10th on the actual assessment?

The section starts when the application is received and accepted by the hospital - as set out on form H3. There would seem to be a break from midnight on 12th until the papers were received on 13th.
