Hi all

Do we know how many PFDs have been issued in relation to RCRP? Where can I find and keep a track of these.

I’m aware of seventeen PFDs from twenty identified and completed inquests, with two more unidentified inquests and with at least eleven identified inquests yet to be heard.

If you email me on michael.brown2@worc.ac.uk I can send you a spreadsheet with the inquests listed and the PFD notices hyperlinked.

As of about 20-minutes ago, my PhD research has refocussed and will most likely now be on Right Care, Right Person contact deaths.

The problem with that is we already know some PFDs do not mention RCRP but are known to be RCRP related, despite that fact. We know this for various reasons, including reference to RCRP in organisational responses to the PFD or from the timing of the event relative to it being known when that force began to operate the programme.

Same problem applies to the College of Policing who have thus far declined to explain how many they think there are or to publicly say much about the impact of this entirely unevaluated initiative.
