I have just received some paperwork and notice that the AMHP did not put their name on the application. I read that Section 15 applies if Doctors or AMHP does not give full name or address(initials are not accepted). In any case the 14 days have passed. Does missing AMHP name invalidate the section.
Leaving blank a space on the form (other than the signature or the doctors’ reasons for believing the statutory criteria are satisfied) is a rectifiable error.
If the AMHP is not identified by name and address on the application form. The error may be rectified within 14 days of the patient being detained.
