Missing examination date in joint medical recommendation

Hi All,

I need your expert advice. On a joint medical recommendation for Section 2, one of the doctors did not include the date of examination on the form. Does this error make the joint medical recommendation invalid?

Many Thanks,
Maria

I was about to say it isn’t a problem, but I hadn’t noticed this was about a joint medical recommendation. Whether or not joint medical recommendations may be amended/rectified after the patient has been admitted is a subject which divides people. And it’s why most MHA administrators are not fans of joint medical recommendations. My personal opinion is that it is probably OK to act as though s15 does apply and that errors like this can be rectified (as long as the timings of the 2 examinations and the application were actually correct). Others may have a different view. And don’t ask about errors in CTO forms…
