— This Act amends the MHA 1983 to allow registered medical practitioners without a licence to practise to be MHRTW medical members, and to apply that change retrospectively. That resolves a problem identified in the 2015 edition of Richard Jones's MHA Manual. The Act also requires the Welsh Ministers to carry out a review of the training arrangements maintained by the President of Welsh Tribunals for medical members of the MHRTW who do not hold licences to practise, and to publish a report of the review no later than 22 January 2027.
