Issues with joint medical recommendation

Patient has transferred into us under section 2. Whilst scrutinising the paperwork for any invalidating errors it appears that the 1st doctor (joint med rec) completed the patients name and address where his name/address should be and his name/address where the patients name/address should be. However it seems the joint medical recommendation was then amended by the doctor to correct the details (swap them over) and this was initialed/dated but after admission took place.

Is this a valid amendment considering s15 does not apply and is the error deemed minor enough not to invalidate the section?

Whilst s.15 may not apply, the ‘correction’ demonstrates that it was a minor slip of the pen and so a court is highly unlikely to be concerned about it.
