Application for S2 made to a bed that was available at the point of assessment. P leaves before conveyance (had no legal powers to prevent P from doing so as MHAA had just finished and no meds recs in situ).
A few days later, the bed on the application is no longer available but there’s another one available elsewhere. Fresh med recs and application required?
New application, yes - because it would be specifying a different hospital.
New medical recommendations, no - as long as the application were still going to be acted on within the 14 days starting with the most recent examination (s6(1)) (and you’d no reason to suppose that the patient’s condition had significantly changed in the interim, rendering it inappropriate to continue using those recommendations).
Yes, all within the 14 days! Perfect, I was concerned the medical recommendations would be “attached” to what would now be considered an incorrect application should that bed no longer be available… Thank you!!
