If an adult patient has capacity and consenting to ECT under a CTO whilst remaining in the community could the RC certify the course of ECT via a CTO12?

First of all,he is on CTO after Section3,right.If he has capacity,& have insight,agreeing for ECT after the one ECT,if he refuses what is the situation.ECT being invasive etc better have SOAD opinion etc.
Practitioners should always check that consent is being given each time treatment is to be administered, but the CQC are not going to entertain a SOAD request for a consenting patient because they might subsequently change their mind.
