Can a file note be done even after 14 days has passed? We have a patient on the ward for over 2 weeks and only now papers were email to the MH Act team? Thank you
For any minor errors yes - if patient was on a s2 - I would be checking if they have been informed of their legal rights under s132 in a timely manner, including their right to appeal - if they have been deprived of their rights and missed their opportunity to appeal to the Tribunal within 14 days of the s2 you may need to consider a secretary of state referral via s67. That’s assuming patient was on s2 of course…
