A tribunal has just upheld my client’s section in circumstances which I feel may well be open to appeal- although I have yet to receive the written decision. My client wants to challenge her section and can appeal again now. An appeal against the tribunal decision could be a lengthy process so I think we will have to make a fresh tribunal application but I am concerned that this will compromise the success of the appeal against the tribunal decision. Any views?

If there are grounds to appeal the decision then you go down that route rather than wasting a fresh application
In my experience the STJ’S deal with appeals within a week or two
Yes- but the STJ is highly likely to turn it down and the UT is taking months. However, I will start with the FTT and see where we get to.
