# What is the current version of "Guidance for social supervisors" and "Guidance for clinical supervisors"?

I made a resolution that instead of emailing people I’d ask questions here. I only remembered it after I’d already emailed a psychiatrist, but here goes…

The most recent version of the guidance for clinical supervisors I can find is [Ministry of Justice, ‘Guidance for clinical supervisors’ (18/3/09)](https://www.mentalhealthlaw.co.uk/Ministry_of_Justice,_%27Guidance_for_clinical_supervisors%27_(18/3/09)). There is a more recent, but barely changed, version of the guidance for social supervisors: [Ministry of Justice, ‘Guidance for social supervisors’ (5/7/19)](https://www.mentalhealthlaw.co.uk/Ministry_of_Justice,_%27Guidance_for_social_supervisors%27_(5/7/19)).

These files are still on the [Gov.uk](http://Gov.uk) website but I can’t find any web pages there describing them. So I wonder: are they still used and, if so, are these the current versions? Thanks.

Yes they are still used /referred to and they are the most current.
