# Training requirements for Mental Health Units (Use of Force) Act 2018

The introduction to the long awaited [draft statutory guidance](https://www.mentalhealthlaw.co.uk/DHSC,_%27Mental_Health_Units_(Use_of_Force)_Act_2018:_statutory_guidance_for_NHS_organisations_in_England_and_police_forces_in_England_and_Wales%27_(consultation_from_25/5/21_to_17/8/21)) to this Act states:

"Organisations should ensure that all staff are aware of and understand their duties under the Human Rights Act 1998 and other relevant UN human rights treaties. This should include:
