Hi I’m trying to locate a leaflet for patient who has been conditionally discharged and wants to apply for absolute discharge.

Thanks

I can’t think of anything good for that, but the tribunal’s information leaflet for restricted patients covers that in passing: [T121: Information for restricted patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended by the Mental Health Act 2007)](https://www.mentalhealthlaw.co.uk/T121:_Information_for_restricted_patients_detained_under_the_Mental_Health_Act_1983_(as_amended_by_the_Mental_Health_Act_2007)).

Interesting to see that the Tribunal thinks an AMHP will always be invloved: “The Tribunal Office will also ask the hospital for reports from your Responsible Clinician (RC), Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) and comments from the Ministry of Justice.” Neither authors of social circumstances reports nor social supervisors of conditionallty discharged patients have to be AMHPs.
