— The event's full title is: "An evening with Mrs Justice Theis: The transition between Children and Adult services". There will be a series of talks from His Honour Judge Smith, District Judge Temple and Brett Davies (Spire Barristers) about the transition between Children and Adult services, High Court DOLS applications for 16/17 years olds, and the transfer of these proceedings to the Court of Protection. Cost: free. Location: Newcastle Civil and Family Courts and Tribunals Centre, Barras Bridge. Time: 5pm to 7pm. Bookings can be made by emailing admin@coppagroup.org and indicating whether attendance is to be online or in person. See COPPA website for further details.
