I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with the Common Platform the Courts now use for Hospital Orders. My latest experience is that a patient has been to court for two different charges and has now been given Two S37 Hospital Orders for the same day. I asked the court to amalgamate the two and the response: _The reason for the two orders is that the case include two case numbers with different offences. Common Platform in these circumstances produces two orders which is clunky, but both are relevant / legally valid as they deal with differing offences._

Other issues I have now is that they seem to no longer be able to put DVCVA on a hospital order.

It would be interesting to hear any other experiences?

thanks

Yes - I provided a risk history to someone conducting a risk assessment and they had incorrectly been given a hospital order, and I have also noticed lots of errors with impending prosecutions not having been updated since (I assume) the system went live. Hugely risky…
