— The mother of a 16-year-old girl who had hanged herself while under the care of Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services challenged the coroner's decision that the [Article 2](https://www.mentalhealthlaw.co.uk/Article_2 "Article 2") procedural investigative duty did not arise. The decision was quashed and remitted to the coroner for re-determination.
